RIDING WITH HONOR & RESPECT

The Funeral Escort

The American Legion Riders provide motor escorts to display respect, honor, and appreciation for sacrifice, as a tribute to a fallen service member escorting home, and/or to his final resting place. The Riders also provide funeral escort to Veterans as they journey to their final resting place. These escorts strive to ensure that the sanctity of a service member’s funeral is not disturbed by those who would intrude, demonstrate, and dishonor their memory.

The Motor Escort

Motor escorts are also provided for wounded warriors, such as those participating in the Ride 2 Recovery program, as well as military units leaving for overseas combat tours, or returning from them.

STANDING WITH HONOR & RESPECT

The Flag Line
The Flag Line symbolizes an endearing protective barrier of love, honor and respect for our fallen hero and family, Veterans, and communities by attending funerals and memorial services. The Flag Lines have expanded to include Memorial Missions, Welcome Home and Troop Send Offs, and Help on the Homefront Missions. The Flag Line is the most sacred symbol and represents the essence of the core values of the Riders.
